Daily Cleaning

For your daily cleaning routine, we recommend wiping down fixtures with a disinfectant wipe or cleaner to remove splatters and keep your bathroom germ-free. Wipe your shower walls and doors dry after every use to prevent soap buildup and unnecessary moisture. Do not forget to close your shower curtain after every use! This will allow it to dry quicker. Hang damp towels and bathmats to dry. Leaving damp towels in a pile on the floor or in a basket may encourage unwanted mildew growth. We also encourage you to switch out any used hand towels daily, as these become dirty quickly and are shared among the household and guests.

Tip: Use distilled white vinegar and a squeegee to clean shower walls after every use. By cleaning as you go, you eliminate having to deep clean buildup later!

Weekly Cleaning

For your weekly cleaning, it is recommended to begin with washing your towels and bathmats. While these are in the washer, it is the perfect time for a bit of scrubbing! Scrub and disinfect the toilet, clean the shower or tub, and scrub down the sink and counter, being sure to reach every nook and cranny! Wipe down all light switches, cabinet handles, and doorknobs. Clean the mirrors, empty the trash can, and save mopping the floor for last.

Monthly Cleaning

For all of those “once-in-a-while” chores, begin with dusting. Door jambs, window ledges, baseboards, and trim, all should meet the wrath of your feather duster! Clean out all drawers, vanity cabinets, and medicine cabinets. Give them a wipe down and declutter any empty products or unnecessary items. Clean your showerhead, wipe down the trashcan, and wash or wipe down your shower curtain. Do not forget to inspect your fixtures for any leaks, rust, or buildup in need of repair.

Tip: Not all shower curtains are machine washable. Don’t forget to check all labels before tossing it into the washing machine!

We hope that with the help of this little list, your cleaning schedule will become a breeze to complete!
