The advantages of a shower column

Nowadays, choosing shower faucets can be complicated. Several options are on the market, but some are simpler when a bathroom renovation is necessary. The shower column can be a perfect choice to simplify your task. PierDeco offers a relaxing and designer atmosphere thanks to its Aquamassage® shower columns.

To try it, is to adopt it

In recent years, the Aquamassage® shower column from PierDeco has won users’ hearts. Using Aquamassage® provides a feeling of immediate well-being, thanks to the multiple integrated functions included in the same product: the powerful shower head, the adjustable body jets, the massaging waterfall as well as the hand shower for hard-to-reach places. The column is installed in the vast majority of showers of 36” and above, and it is even possible to install it in a chalet where the water comes from an artesian well.

Advantages

Why choose an Aquamassage® shower column from PierDeco rather than a traditional faucet?

1- For its contemporary look

2- For its safety aspect (thermostatic)

3- For the performance of multiple functions

4- For speed and low installation cost

5- For its premium quality materials

6- For minimal maintenance

Safe

A shower column is sold pre-assembled with factory-installed thermostatic taps and the water temperature preset to 38 degrees, providing additional safety when used by children and people with reduced mobility.

Offering quick and easy installation, it is ideal for new construction and renovation. The Aquamassage® shower column from PierDeco is ready to install and can, therefore be easily installed in one hour, replacing existing taps in a shower or bath shower.

Sustainability

The body is made from stainless steel and brass, materials that will not rust. Brass and ceramic flow control cartridge. Vernet® high durability thermostat.

Performance

The enlarged rain head on each shower column is equipped with anti-limescale microjets for an enveloping shower offering excellent water flow.

Body jets diffuse water through multiple orifices, fixed or adjustable to adapt to each person’s morphology, and are equipped with anti-limescale nozzles facilitating maintenance.

How to make the right choice of model?

Aquamassage® shower columns from PierDeco are available in different stainless-steel finishes: Brushed, polished, satin black, polished gold, or even lacquered in matt black or glossy white. Some models are also available with tempered glass fronts, in matte or glossy black and glossy white.

Possibility of fixed or adjustable body jets. The shower column is available in several surface or recessed arrangements with widths from 6” to 8.5”. The narrowest models are mainly installed in new bathrooms; the widest models, for their part, are designed with a “retrofit” in mind, thus making it possible to completely cover an old shower faucet that we would like to replace without redoing the entire shower.

How to choose your shower?

The shower is essential and it takes up more and more space in the bathroom. The space allocated to your shower must be functional and optimal. The possibilities are very great and Zitta Group offers you a wide range of products to help you make your choice. A shower with an exclusive and innovative style will immediately give your room a new look.

When you arrange the shower in your bathroom, you must consider the space of the room, but also the quality, functionality and style that you are looking for. Let us guide you in choosing your ideal solution by offering you various Zitta Group products.

Installation

The installation of a shower can be between three walls, in a corner or on a rear wall with two glass panels on the sides. Widths typically range from 32 to 60 inches, which leaves plenty of wiggle room to choose what works best for you. Whether square, rectangular or corner, you will find the Zitta Group shower perfect for the location where you want it to be installed in the room.

Opening mechanism

There are several doors opening mechanisms, including pivot doors, hinged doors as well as sliding doors. However, the choice of door opening mechanism must be made according to the space you have so as not to clutter the space and harm its functionality.

A bathroom that is too small? Need to optimize space?

With its sliding pivot system, the XENIA shower door from Zitta Group comes into part towards the inside of the shower when opened requiring less space to manipulate the door.

In addition, while offering a large opening towards the interior of the shower, the XENIA serie maintains maximum clearance in front of the shower thanks to its door which only extends 15” once open. No more headaches, choose the style no matter the space!

The shower screen is simplicity itself. However, you must ensure that the heat will be well controlled, since the shower is open.

Basic shower materials

Zitta Group shower bases can be made of resin or acrylic. Several basic configurations are available.

Resin

Resin shower bases are elegant and stylish. They offer many advantages such as durability, tailor-made design and non-slip properties as well as ease of maintenance. Zitta Group offers you the Moon and Liss bases as well as the SLATE shower base in white, black or gray finishes as well as matching SLATE slate walls in the same colors.

Acrylique

Acrylic shower bases are the most common on the market. Resistant to the years, this type of base is inexpensive, waterproof, easy to install and maintain. Zitta Group has several basic models of anti-leak acrylic shower with or without magnetic drain cover.

Drains

For acrylic or resin shower bases, there are several types of drains offered by Zitta Group. Square and linear drains equipped with a decorative plate are currently popular. It is important that these are of good quality, which is a guarantee of their waterproofness. In addition, it is essential that these are easily cleanable.

Spacious shower with glass panel, the Italian shower is increasingly present in bathrooms. To obtain a refined room, why not free up the shower by opting for a transparent and minimalist wall. Freed from space constraints, the shower appears much larger.

The simple glass panel to protect the bathroom from splashes steals the show sliding shower doors.

Gaining interior space, why not indulge in multifunctionality: integrating a bench, adding ambient lighting, an anti-fog mirror or a linear drain, etc.
