As you know, the last year and a half have presented many unexpected challenges. We at Chariot have worked diligently to maintain the supply chain with our products and ensure strong service levels in the wake of the pandemic.

One of the challenges suppliers are facing is the global shipping impact. Inventories across the planet are at historic lows and demand to restock has put unprecedented stress on the transportation industry. Container costs have seen increases of 300%-500% and delays have been lengthy. Forecasts from our shipping agents predict no decrease for at least the upcoming 12 months. We have seen increased costs in raw materials, packaging, freight, and transportation.

We have taken every opportunity to offset these higher costs through efficiencies in our supply chain and manufacturing, but we have not been able to absorb it completely. Toward that end, we are announcing a price increase on our Oasis Porcelain, Presidential, Liberty, and Master Chef sink lines. As well as the Brooks Tub line and template wood. The Brooks tub and template wood price increase are effective immediately. The price increase for the sink lines will be effective Tuesday, July 6, 2021. All orders submitted before this date will qualify for the current pricing. Anything submitted on or after July 6th will be subject to the new pricing.

The cost increases have been kept as minimal as possible to cover only our increased expenses. We expect to see a price decrease sometime in 2022 and will adjust when that time comes. For our business customers, we strongly urge you to increase your price lists accordingly. We will still continue to actively price match our competitors to the best of our ability. We have ordered tens of thousands of extra products to get us through the longer shipping lead times and best serve our customers and keep your projects moving.
